#1206 Reopen 614631: load (qq); fails

load("qq"); fails in Maxima 5.12.0, both Windows and src (compiled with Debian 4.0r0 clisp and gcc). So does "load (qq)". I don't see qq.lisp in the source. Perhaps this is a documentation error: the documentation should be revised to omit mention of qq, quanc8, QUADPACK, et al.

I'm assuming reference to qq in the documentation is in interfaces/xmaxima/demos.html where demo("qq") appears. I have cut out that reference (r1.5 of demos.html) and I can find no other references to qq or quanc8 in the documentation or source code (neither in src nor share nor any other directory, except archive/share/trash, where it is expected).

The qq package (containing the quanc8 function) is superseded by QUADPACK functions, which are in the source code and in the documentation.

    Closing this report as fixed.
