I installed maxfem today, but icon does not launch the application. I also installed python xy Python(x,y)-2.7.10.0.exe, but that didn't change anything. The version of the maxfem is MaxFEM-0.3.5-win32-setup. My OS is win 7 pro SP1. There is also python 3.6 installed on my computer. Most of the SW is installed by my administrator and I'm not allowed to change much. Is it possible to get this program running?

I imagine that the problem is with "wxversion", no "mxversion". In that case, should install that package in Python. Please note that depending on the Pyhton distribution, some packages must be choosen by you at installation time. This is something that MaxFEM cannot do automatically.
