Dear all,
in the scope of a research project I'm looking for a FEM-Simulationsoftware with the ability of taking hysteresis-effects into account. I know, in MaxFEM it is possible to calculate the relative magnetic permeability via an external function. But has anybody already modeled hysteresis-effects with MaxFEM? The question is whether it's possbile to access past values of the magnetic field H and the magnetic flux density B as well and hand them over to an external function. Since hysteresis models are history dependent, current and past values are needed. The hysteresis modeling has to be performed online. How can I implement an external function into MaxFEM?
I know, a lot of question. I'm able to define a hysteresis model (e.q. JAM), but I do not know how to implement it.
I would be grateful for any feedback.
Thanks in advance.
