[Maven-plugins-developer] The News and Files plugins

I commited the "news" and "files" plugin to CVS some weeks ago. I have 
modified the news plugin based on input from Lukas Theussl. He suggested 
some nice features.

I'm now wondering if we could release the first version of the plugins. I 
haven't received much feedback except that they both seem valueable in some 
way. Regarding release I have some questions I hope some of you may help me 
with:

* I guess the two plugins have to be added to the File Release System? Can 
one of the admins help me with that?

* Site for the plugins: Can I just generate site and scp content to the web 
server or do you have another way of doing this?

* How do I add the jars to 
http://maven-plugins.sourceforge.net/repository/maven-plugins/plugins/ ?

* Should they also be added to ibiblio? If so, how?
