I can't build with it either FWIW. I'm guessing there's something screwed in 
multiproject because I've used rc2 on other projects with no problems (but 
not used multiproject on those). 

I've no desire to download and build Maven CVS HEAD either ... hope they 
release an updated plugin (whichever one is causing the problem) sometime 
soon.
