I am sure we are happy to have new fixes! However, what about uberjar didn't you like/couldn't you use? Hi folks, due to classpath (and start time) problems I searched for alternatives = of the uberjar plugin and detected javaapp. My first test with the = plugin showed its great potential, but it is not yet a drop-in = replacement for uberjar. Are you interested in following changes: - Compytibility with multiproject - Support of uberjar.bundle attribute as extension of existing = maven.javaapp.jar.exclude property - Fix usage of maven.javaapp.final.name - Deployment support Regards, J=F6rg |

Dear Goeschl, All my project docbook sources are available through CVS in the Schoolbus project: Check out source code with a CVS client. For example: cvs -d :pserver:gu...@cv...:/cvs login followed by cvs -d :pserver:gu...@cv...:/cvs checkout schoolbus the current "under progress" documentation can be found into the folder: schoolbus/schoolbus-quaestio/docs/requirements/en the main document ios "master.xml" and for now I'm producing the PDF and Html outputs using an ANT task - called from Maven. In order to produce the output, just type "maven docbooks" into the folder schoolbus/schoolbus-quaestio/docs/requirements it will create a folder called "build" containing all produced documentatio= n. My frustration is about the need of ANT instead of a pure maven solution. I know that solution is possible but at now I can't figure out how to. I tryied the default maven docbook plugin but the results are a bit strange - then I think I'm doing something wrong :) The usage of my project documentation as a "plugin test bed" would be greateful. I will help you with all feeback I can. The Schoolbus have 70 members, much of them involved in this phase of documentation. We all will give you the feedback. Please copy your questions to the li...@sc... - the other members should also help. thank you very much by your friendly support, Felipe Ga=FAcho Schoolbus owner https://schoolbus.dev.java.net/ On Mon, 15 Nov 2004 08:21:51 +0100, Siegfried Goeschl <sie...@it...> wrote: > Hi Felipe, >=20 > don't know if this is coincidence or not but we have some activities on > the maven-plugins site regarding the sdocbooc plugin (see below) >=20 > > The soggested plugin is messy and produces a bad formatted > > documentation.. Hi Carlos, as far as I remember (and I'm pretty bad at those things) those two=20 plugins have a different scope +) the "Original DOCBOOK Plugin" transforms XDOC to PDF which is fine +) whereas "SDOCBOOK Plugin" transforms DOCBOOK to PDF, HTML, RTF, .... Hi all, I was thinking that goal dbunit:export-xls currently uses a property "tables" to limit what is exported. I'd like to change this to be maven.dbunit.tables.. Any complaints? The other aspect is that in trying to use DBUnit, I find that for exporting I really want to use my own java code.. I was thinking of adding an abstract version of DataSetTool that you subclassed and passed in the class name as part of a variable. This would then have a single method that would be your personal configuraiton of decorators for the dbunit operation you want.. versus trying to add every possible combination instead.. Thoughts? Hi there, We're using FindBugs (Ant task) with some filters (excludeFilter attribute in FindBugs Ant task)... so I had to edit plugin.jelly to take care of this when generating the report. The plugin is now aware of two properties: maven.findbugs.excludeFilter and maven.findbugs.includeFilter (exclude property wins). I used jelly tags choose/when/otherwise for detecting the correct case and calling the correct ant task, but because the XML must be well-formed, I had to repeat the text inside <findbugs/> tag in every block (ugly copy & paste). Is there any way to factorize this?? I'm sending the edited plugin.jelly (the new one wich I'm using) and a CVS patch (for version 1.8 of plugin.jelly). Please be nice !! I've started learning Jelly today... I hope it helps ! Best, |

I have removed mine! I am going to be doing an update to 0.8.5 of findbugs sometime this week, that will give me a chance to try out the new process > -----Original Message----- > From: mav...@li... > [mailto:mav...@li...]On Behalf Of > Brett Porter > Sent: Friday, October 15, 2004 11:54 PM > To: Andy Jefferson > Cc: mav...@li... > Subject: Re: [Maven-plugins-developer] repository and deployments > > > Thanks. > > The sync is now up and running every four hours. Thanks. The sync is now up and running every four hours. It's currently using my account, but we'll probably add a user specifically for that project in the future. - Brett On Fri, 15 Oct 2004 19:16:00 +0100, Andy Jefferson <and...@us...> wrote: > > Still to be done: > > - remove the http://maven-plugins.sf.net/maven/ directory altogether > > - remove the http://maven-plugins.sf.net/repository/maven-plugins/jpox > > empty directory (andy_jefferson - you need to do this) > > I've removed the "jpox" directory. I've also removed all under the "maven" directory that I can but "dep4b" and "ludovicc" need to remove their directories (that are under there) as well . -- Andy |

I think it's best that they go through the normal upload cycle. This happens very quickly now. - Brett On Fri, 15 Oct 2004 13:39:35 +0100, Eric Pugh <ep...@up...> wrote: > That is great news! That is great news! Thanks for the housekeeping. As far as the findbugs stuff goes, they do versions pretty frequently. I've talked to them about hosting their repo in a Maven friendly fashion, but it hasn't happened yet, so I've been putting them up on maven-plugins.sf.net. However, with this symlink being done, should I no longer deploy findbugs jars into the maven-plugins repo? B/c then they will find their way onto ibiblio. Instead of going through the normal upload request cycle?
