Commit [r7273] Maximize Restore History

Reverting previous changes concerning expected improvements of performance, planning further investigation:

- The speedup of the GA achieved in a planomat performance test could not be reproduced in an application scenario (differences to test: multi-threaded instead of single-threaded, slightly different scoring function)
- Speedup by more efficient implementation of KTI scoring function is buggy, associated test still missing.
