I absolutely love this program.  My only hope for future versions is that you would create a standalone configuration program like there is with AC3Filter.  As I mostly use WM9 (which stupidly doesn't let you configure the matrix mixer), a standalone config program would make this an even more exceptional program.  Thanks!

I'm using WMP9 too, and I would also like to be able to use this amazing filter! Would it perhaps be possible to make this filter as a WMP9-Plugin???

I think Microsoft has a website for plugin development for WMP9, but I don't remember the URL

Anyway, I hope MatrixMixer will become "WMP9-compatible" in the near future...

well, WMP9 does not configure the filter but it DOES use it... so it's compatible... =) just not configurable... here's what I do: I run "mplayer2.exe" from the Run menu, load a MP3 file and configure there the filter, so, when I get back to WMP9 it works there too =) what I could not do was to use it as a pluggin to the DSHOW addon for winamp2, it seems that the winamp code just doesnt load all the filters... thanks, Lucas.

Hi lucasjr, there is a DSP plugin called ADAPT-X that works as a host for your directX filters in winamp. You can check that out, but a more practical approach is perhaps to use your Winamp DSP on a DirectSound output (WMP e.g). That is possible through the DSP2DShow plugin (from the developers of FFDShow) which is DirectX filter acting as a host from your Winamp DSPs. Check it out:
