I am trying to run Matplotlib 0.87.4 on WinXP after having installed from the binaries posted on sourceforge. Unfortunately, when I try importing from pylab, I get a popup declaring: "This application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found." I usually work on Mac/Linux, so I have no idea what this means. Here is the traceback. Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in ? I have tried building matplotlib myself using mingw32, but with no success. Any help is most appreciated. -- Chris Fonnesbeck + Atlanta, GA + http://trichech.us |
