Hi all,
I have been trying to install and operate this toolbox, but I ran into some major issues:
It seems that I am missing files every time I download the toolbox, so I always end up opening the .exe application and getting a command window, which says "waiting for fixation data to start streaming..." and neither does anything, nor lets me do anything.
I'm also not sure whether I am supposed to see any more UI or what I'm supposed to see, since none of my downloads of the toolbox have yielded any documentation files.
My most recent discovery was that I had not downloaded the Tobii Gaze SDK mentioned in the Wiki. However, that product was discontinued by Tobii back in 2016.
Would anyone be able to help me with these problems? And does anyone know of a way to access the discontinued SDK?

I have the same issue. I downloaded the "TobiiPro.SDK.Matlab_1.6.1.21" instead of Tobii Gaze SDK, but it seems that the Toolbox is not able to link with the new SDK.

same issue for me, i spent two days searching the Eye X SDK online without luck. looks like we are not able to setup the development environment in now day. (i'm using tobii 4C)
Let's me summary the situation :
1. Tobii Eye Controller and the Tobii EyeX Engine * %% Not available on offical website anymore, you can found some Historical versions online ( for my case, I tried the 2017 EyeX driver but it cannot recognize my 4C successfully. all 2018 and after Core Driver works*
Download the Tobii Gaze SDK. %%Neither Gaze SDK nor EyeX SDK could be found online anymore
Download the Matlab Toolkit for EyeX from SurceForge. %%OK, but you need to copy some files from toolbox 3.1 to toolbox 3.1 -EyeX SDK to make it work
So, I wonder if author could kindly put together the controller/engine, EyeX SDK files, and share with us? Or Is there any plan to update this toolbox to make it work on the latest driver & SDK environment?
