No

Platform:
Silicon Graphics 32 bit
Matlab 5.3.1
MIPSpro Fortran 90 Version 7.2.1

3) My f90 preferred the semicolons to be removed.
It compiles the testspeed.f file after they are removed

I haven't worked out matlab2fmex enough tofix it - please help, I'm a bit stuck for now.

It was actually a clash of UNIX/Windows Line ends LF/CRLF.
They (the CR's) are now cleared out in the file input stage.
