Ah. You are right. That was the file with the mistake. I am really sorry
and feel stupid.

That would be helpful, but I can't judge the speed reduction. BTW I
complained in another mail that 2016b and above is really slow on my
machine. That is only true, if I start the whole beast. For emacs the
change and the startup via no desktop, it is not notable.
