[Matlab-emacs-discuss] compiler warnings

I just updated to the latest matlab emacs and see a few warnings. I realize some of these are to support older emacs's but some look like they could be fixed (and maybe suppress the others for older releases)? I'm building on Debian 8 using emacs 24.4.1
