thanks for working on the merges

you can fix a commit with amend:
https://www.atlassian.com/git/tutorials/rewriting-history

to change melpa, the normal approach is to submit a pull request in github
at https://github.com/melpa/melpa, and then wait till someone accepts it.

i could do it when i have time, till the end of the week.
