Hi, Sorry for the very slow reply. Supposedly, if you say 'yes' to configure your mlint, you can point that variable at your mlint programs. This is a list of places where mlint might be. If you set it to some places for mlint, it will attempt to find them either on your path, or in a MATLAB install area. If in the custom buffer you save for a future session, you should be ok. If it comes back at you a few times, just add mlint to your path before Emacs starts, and that will definitely fix it.
