Hi,

  If you enable mlint mode, then all the miscellaneous things that the MATLAB editor highlights as issues will be highlighted in Emacs as well.

  As for Emacs Link, I made a blog posting about it last fall here:

  It is not emacslink, but it can do some similar things.

I'm using emacs to editing my .m file.

I would like to have a feature that will allow me to highlight the 
"might never be used" variable like as in the Matlab original editor. Do 
you know if such feature existe in emacs ??
