I haven't been able to figure out from the sourcecode if matio supports builds of libraries for 64bit windows and files from 64bit Matlab (I am using Visual Studio 2010 and would need the compatible ABI ). Any hints on this?

I have built matio on 64-bit Windows XP and 7 using the Intel compilers. I have not done extensive testing. The build used a custom-modified version of libtool. I do not have a visual studio solution for building matio though.
