When I build hpcc with the threaded ATLAS library and run it with openmpi it crashes like this:
/opt/openmpi/gcc/bin/mpirun -np 4 hpcc.sl5.pth
[geminide9:31112] *** Process received signal ***
[geminide9:31112] Signal: Segmentation fault (11)

[geminide9:31112] Failing at address: 0x228
[geminide9:31112] [ 0] [0x40000440]
[geminide9:31112] [ 1] hpcc.sl5.pth(ATL_join_tree+0x39) [0x8094971]
[geminide9:31112] *** End of error message ***
mpirun noticed that job rank 0 with PID 1651 on node geminide8.ifh.de exited on signal 15 (Terminated).
3 additional processes aborted (not shown)
Connection to geminide9.ifh.de closed.

It does not crash if I use the non-threaded ATLAS. I'm using RHEL5 with ATLAS 3.7.30 and openmpi 1.2.1.

I don't have this error on my old installation on RHEL3 with the same version of ATLAS and mpich-gm 1.2.7..15.

This was caused by the Gridengine, my tests were running as a job. Sorry for the noise.
