I have a dual core processor.  I'm compiling with pthreads and "unknown" defaults.  My make and install go fine.  But the sanity_test and psanity_test fail.  Here's the error:

    ../uumtst.c: In function ATL_U2GE:
../uumtst.c:68: error: invalid storage class for function ATL_L2GE
    ../uumtst.c: At top level:
../uumtst.c:84: warning: conflicting types for ATL_L2GE
../uumtst.c:84: error: static declaration of ATL_L2GE follows non-static declaration
../uumtst.c:70: error: previous implicit declaration of ATL_L2GE was here
    make[3]: *** [suumtst.o] Error 1

Can't find anything in a FAQ so far.  Any pointers?

      Hi.
Bumping this up because I have similar problems.
I am using atlas 3.6.0 with red hat linux 5 64bit and gcc 4.1.1 on an Intel Xeon quad core.
      Thanks
