Euclid / News: Recent posts

Git source will now only be updated on github https://github.com/Mithos/Alexandria (because it's just a bit nicer to use than sourceforge's git). Wiki moved also to github (again, nicer to use) and issues have gone there too. Releases will still be hosted here, as well as some general info.

OK, maybe not moving the entire GUI to Ruby (due to my inability with JRuby :P) eventually may do, but for now some of it will be in Java.

Well, The first alpha is available. You need to completely ignore sourceforge's reccomended download and click more files to install (the readme will explain all).

Other news, the GUI has been completely moved to Ruby, and moving the alexandria library to ruby is being considered. The JRuby platform will still be used for development for ease of distribution. (Actually, Java is probably more useful for a general lib, but ruby has advantages that can be added in the bindings.rb file for Euclid itself)... read more
