As the profile number 0 is special, and contains default settings which are used for all profiles where this option is not set, there are only 4 profiles by default, which is pretty low. Also, the statement on manual page that there are five profiles by default, while technically correct, is misleading. Debian already agreed with this, make the default limit 10 and changed manual page as seen on http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-bugs-closed@lists.debian.org/msg134457.html (you can also find the patch they created on debian mirrors) and Ubuntu implemented same changes.
While I can bother my distribution with it, I think it will be more logical to change this upstream for all.
