I just begin to learn matcont. I meet a problem when I follow the paper "Limit cycles and their bifurcations in MatCont".
At the model of Steinmetz & Larter, I wanted to realize the cycle continuation. Unfortunately, I failed. I use the version 2.4 and matlab 7.1. I did as the paper, but an error dialog always pop up:Evaluation of test functions failed at starting point.
I don't know where is wrong. I hope some one can help me. Thanks a lot.

If you are new user, I recommend that you download the most recent version of matcont 2.5.1 and start with the tutorial provided at sourceforge with the previous version 2.4.2, which should work fine.
Best regards,
Willy Govaerts
