For my master thesis I'm researching the effect of gap junctions on synchronisation in the Basal Ganglia.
The model I am using is a Quadratic-and-Integrated fire model.
Due to the quadratic term in my differential equation the membrane potential will go to infinity in finite time.
Therefore, I am using a discrete resetting rule which states: V=> 100 then V= -65 .
I want to analyse this model by doing a bifurcation Analysis.
However, I am struggling with programming this model in Matcont.
I've read the manual and I believe I have to use the command line version of Matcont.
I manage to make the odefile, my state variable is resetting however the continuation of limit cycles is not working at all.
Does anyone have any tips or examples to have a look at?
