I am using matcont to find limit cycle in a nonlinear system for my MSc project. Please, I want to know how to determine the amplitude of oscillation at Hopf bifurcation (which is the door to limit cycle). I will appreciate your timely contributions as this will help me to meet the deadline for my project.
There is no real rule for this. The reason is that this is a scaling-related problem. The software contains a default value; if this does not work then you try simply by multiplying this value with e.g. 10,10^(-1),10^2,10^(-2) etc.

Are you saying that I should do the time simulation of the model using the value of the parameter at the bifurcation point?. Please elucidate.
