I use MashIt for two years now and am really happy with it.
There are some small bugs and user request from the forum which are probably not that hard to implement and I'd love to contribute.
Unfortunately, I don't know java, I'm more into C, Objective-C and Arduino programming.
I'll have a look at java and we'll see what I'm able to do, I don't promise anything...
Right now I'm using a C-interface-server between MashIt, my Objective-C Application and the arduino in my brewing-laundry-machine... ;)
Have a look at arduinobeer.blogspot.com

Hi, Frank,
i saw your post right now because i wasn't subscribed to my own wiki :-(
I find your work great.
I see nothing bad about mixing different approaches and languages. I find a system only useful when it can interoperate with other software/ paradigms etc. That means it must have clear external interfaces.

Every hour counts!
I am happy to announce that a new developer has entered the Mash-It project:
IT is hogthrob (Werner)
As i myself am bound to spend 60 hours per week working for my company, i am happy about every contribution!
Also happy that Mash-It still is alive even though i don't have much time.
Axel
