Wellmashed Content Mangement System / News: Recent posts

The news script is now finished, supporting news topics and the ability to have more text of the story available for the user at their choice, i.e. "click here to read the full story". The administration panel for the news system is finished and the user also has the ability to place a module on the homepage.

The project now has an installer! :D
You can now deploy and test it on your own site, if you feel the need, although I probably won't be making an actual release until the full administration system is finished.

This is the first message from me to you about the projects progress. There isn't a great deal to see on the cvs repository right now, because there is no installer script, however basic. On the development systems however, things are going well. The messages system development is entering its final stages, and an emoticon system fro the messages is also on the cards that could be integrated with the news as well. I'll be sure to keep you updated as I go along. :)
