Hi,

My best guess would be that you are used winzip to unpack the archive, and
winzip has it's smart cr/lf tar file option set (it's the default).  This
option often messes up matlab mat files for some reason.  Either disable
this option (somewhere in winzip's configuration menus), or use another
unpacking utility to dearchive the ROIs.  That should work...
