I have already asked Scott so that now it becomes mor clear how the mars simulation works. But I still have some problems and I hope you will help me.
1.) Always when I start the project, Eclipse (I use Eclipse 3.0 as IDE) writes the following message:
Problem loading default simulation java.lang.Exception: Saved file: D:\G-TEC\workspace\mars-sim\saved\default.sim not found.
Creating new simulation
2.) After a new simulation is cerated automatically I try to save this (for example: newSim.sim). However when I want to load the simulation again, Eclipse shows the message:
John Derkson - Error in lifesupport needs: null
Simulation.clockPulse(): Settlement Alpha Base timePassing(): null
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
What does this mean?
3.) So when I want to change some attributes on vehicles, simulation, people, settlements,... I have to change this in the xml files. Is this correct? I have to change the project a little for my university. I think it would be a good idea, if the user could decide and change to which settlemet a rover drives. So I want to beg you to send me the recent development version, that I can try to work on it.
4.) Maybe you could give me an idea what I can do else(but it shouldn't be too difficult9. I know I can make changes on the user interface, but I think it is more interessting that the user can engage in the simulation process.
Yours sincerely
