Hi there. So as the title says, my botanists decided to randomly undertake a mining mission instead of finishing up their research for some reason. I cancelled the mission before they left base expecting them to toddle off back to the greenhouse but instead they simply camped in the rover until they starved to death. The rover never left it's position just outside the hab unit, they just simply wouldn't get out.

There seems to be some bugs in cancelling an un-departed mission but I think Scott fixed it but I'll need to double check. Thanks for pointing this out.
Questions: are there any issues with the rover vehicle?
Sometimes it was waiting for another vehicle to come to deliver the broken parts.
But since it's still within the vicinity of the settlement, the A.I. should send technician out of the vehicle and walk back to the settlement and bring back the needed part, if that's the case.

This is the probably the same bug I've encountered a while back and Scott commented on it.
See the ticket "A.I. problem: trapped and starving to death inside a vehicle within a settlement's premise" at
https://sourceforge.net/p/mars-sim/tickets/6/
If it was not fully fixed in r2833 in all situations, we will re-open this ticket and investigate further on how this happens and offer a new fix.
