    Hello,

Your sim is very interessant and nice. I love it and keep it running on my PC.

I think it will be more interressant to have some interaction with the sim.

For example to be warned when some events happened, and to choose who will do the job (repair, collect rocks, destination off rover and so on).

It could be from an event list, to choose wich events are managed by the AI and wich by us. It will be very nice and more interressant.

Thanks again for this unique and very good sim.

P.S : I already show the sims to some friends and they are addicted too.

(2003-06-20 21:50 ) kind of kicking an old dog, but I second this one.

An ability to have greater control over missions would be nice. I realize custom missions are a new feature, but now that theyre in, it would nice to make mission generation more of a user-only function unless the base camp is in dire need of a resource. You would need to be more aware of the current levels of resources in your bases.

Thanks for the feedback.  I know user interaction is still pretty weak in the simulation and needs to be improved.

The mission tool is the first user interface element that allows significant user interaction, with the user being able to modify a current mission or create a new mission.  I'm sure there's more we can add to the mission tool as well, particularly in the mission modification capacity.

I hadn't thought about limiting mission creation to the user.  That might be possible, though.  We could add a check box to the settlement info dialog to have manual mission creation only.  This would be for an individual settlement.

For the next version I'm working on allowing the user to start manufacturing processes at a settlement.  We could likewise add a check box for manual manufacturing process creation as well.

There might be other aspects of a settlement that could also be set on manual control.

It's an interesting idea.  I don't think it would be hard to implement.
