Are you running an old tarball release or a version from the CVS head? Java version, MARF build and SpeakerIdentApp build would be good to know. Please tell me how you are running it as well -- via the scripts or in an IDE, such as Eclipse? To reproduce our results you'd normally run from the scripts (in Linux or OS X or via Cygwin on Windows). Please tell a bit more about your environment. I am now mostly focusing on the MARFCAT application instead, but can revisit and update SpeakerIdentApp; they run and use the same pipeline. > Thanks, > Brent Ko > Email: bre...@wi...<mailto:bre...@wi...> > M: +886 939 683 219 > Office: +886 2 6612 7441 -- Serguei A. Hello MARF developers, This is Brent from Wistron corporation, Taiwan. I am testing the speaker identification in MARF project and having an issue that needs your comments. I am able to run the program, but none of your test file can be recognized. Could you let me know what went wrong? Hi : I want to use marf as a authentication service for my website.I got below one questions: 1. Currently the recognize results always return the best two match results. Are there a way that I can set a threshold value, let's say if none of the training results can get a 80% match, it should give me a error? |

Hi Team, Good Day Greeting !!! I have been browsing on internet to find out any Open Source SDK written in .net for performing Voice Based Authentication to my applications developed both in Mobile & Windows platform, using .NET Technologies. My Requirements would be to identify the user by his/her name when he/she speaks to the application. Regards, Suresh Gorakala Innovation Team - Emirates Group IT |

Hi, The method generateResponseCoefficients() of the class LowPassFilter in marf-0.3.0-devel-20070108-fat.jar has the following comment: /* * Create a response that drops all frequencies above 2853 Hz * XXX -- Note: 2853Hz = 70 * 128 every 8000Hz */ Can someone explain me how the coefficients have to be calculated? I would like to know how I can transform Hz to coefficients. Unfortunately, the comment above didn't help me figuring this out. Thanks. markus |

The following forum message was posted by mokhov at http://sourceforge.net/projects/marf/forums/forum/213052/topic/4878330: Hi safatron, sorry for the delay in reply. Thanks for the good comments! Now to your specific comments: > it is necessary to write down a sound from a microphone in wav a file, > and then it to load for the further processing. In the traditional MARF and its SpeakerIdentApp, yes. > It does not turn out in any way. What do you mean? Do you mean you want to put the input stream directly for processing without creating an intermediate file first? It is possible and some (external) applications have done that, but you'd still be storing some information somewhere, like training sets, processed utterances, etc. The real-time recording then would be a part of the application itself. Inside MARF, we began work long ago to add a SampleRecorder class [1], which would get the data not from the file, along with its Test application [2], but it was not fully finished with other things taking more priorities. If you feel like, you are welcome to contribute the missing bits ;-) [1] http://marf.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/marf/marf/src/marf/Storage/SampleReco rder.java [2] http://marf.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/marf/apps/TestSampleRecorder/ BWT, what kind of scientific works do you do? Any links? There's been several publications with MARF and derived works and applications. Thanks, -s |

In search of a material has come across your library. An excellent thing! Thanks you big for such working out! Has started a program writing: it is necessary to write down a sound from a microphone in wav a file, and then it to load for the further processing. It does not turn out in any way. Thanks for attention. I look forward to hearing from you! |
