Well, I know basically nothing about the M2Win format, but I wouldn't think adding support for a simple folder bundle would be that difficult--just read the individual image and text files, and consult the MML file for which ones go where. (though I can appreciate the tedium involved in adding support for more formats, in general) That would also solve your problem of editors, as you'd just need your favourite graphics program and text editor, then drop the resulting files in a folder.
