#86 Splash screen behavior - clickthroughs

Classic Marathon and NIBs builds of Aleph One would instantly recognize
that a key was held down and "click through" a splash screen as soon as
the fade in effect finished. SDL builds (OSX at least, unsure about others)
require that you release the key and re-press it. This is mildly annoying
when frequently re-lanching a scenario with multiple splash screens.

Perhaps better yet would be a preference setting (no GUI needed) for "fast
startup" that just skips the intro screens altogether?
