First problem is that the makefile is written for
specific include directories which are not present in
Red Hat 8.0 using gcc lib version 3.2. The makefile is
written to expect 2.95.4.

In an attempt to workaround I symlinked the directory
names which differed. (i386-linux to
i396-redhat-linux; and 2.95.4 to 3.2) A build attempt
was made after the work around and the build failed
with several "undefined refrences."

I have wxGTX version 2.2.9-1 installed via the RPM's
available from SourceForge. I am using the default
version of g++ available from Red Hat 8.0 installation
media.

Hope this helps!

I'm sorry that I do not have a g++ message dump to give.
