1.0b1 release

Release 1.0b1 (beta) of MapRequest is now available. You can download it from http://sourceforge.net/projects/maprequest/

This is the first beta of the 1.0 release.

Changes for this release:

The major change for this version is that MapRequest now uses GeoTools 2.0
to provide a coordinate system model. This allows such things as providing
the lat/long of map corners to Ozi, and calculating the metres/pixel scale
for maps.

The way the datum/projection is defined is slightly different to the
previous release. (See the documentation for details.)

This release now includes a "cs" folder which defines datums and
projections. (See the documentation for details.)

Enhancements:

1092148 - "Request" button changes to "Stop" while a map is loading so
that you can interrupt MapRequest.
1092147 - Double clicking on a map in the map selection dialog box
selects the map.
1098754 - Add support for WMS map servers. The only supplied sample
map that uses the WMS driver is "Test WMS - Canada Centre for Remote
Sensing." This driver is _very_ beta. Limitations include lack of
support for "styles", and the fact that no layers are selected by
default.
A busy cursor is displayed while map parameters are loaded.
1089666 - Navigation buttons. N/S/E/W panning buttons allow you to pan
the current view exactly one screenful.
1108084 - Allow strftime() type characters in map addText. This allows
the current year to be added to maps, rather than a hard coded value.

Bug fixes:

1082611 - No lat/long for map corners for maps using a grid. This is
fixed (for supported coordinate systems).
1082606 - Ozi map files do not have a valid metres/pixel. This is fixed
(for supported coordinate systems).

Other comments:

All sample map services were updated for the coordinate system change.
In addition, all sample map services (including the US maps calibrated
in US Survey Feet) can now provide correctly calibrated output for
OziExplorer (apart from NZ maps).
