#20 Compare / select best picture

For selecting the best picture of a series it would be helpful if there is a view mode displaying two images simultaneously. E.g. split the main window vertically in two equal areas for image preview plus the thumbnails for selection. One pane should show the candidate picture (ie. the currently selected best one) the other pane the currently selected picture from the thumbnails. By a button the "selection" could become the candidate, by <space> e.g. one could move on to the next picture in the thumbnails. A similar screen layout is available in many raw converters for checking before/after or in a major commercial product for exactly the very purpose of selecting the best images in a series. The "best picture" should be available for selection to the light table.
