Hi Andreas, I've been putting off answering this because I don't really have time to look up all the names and stuff for you and I was hoping somebody else would reply. But since nobody has I'll answer in general terms. You ideally shouldn't have to change any methods. Most of what you need can be accomplished by tweaking the preferences in config_inc.php. You'll need to change the language files in lang/ to either rename a user level to Tester, or to add a new one (if you add a new one, you'll have to add a new one in the config file and probably add a #define in core/constant_inc.php). You can set the threshold for users who can be assigned to to your new tester level in the config file as well. The only hard part would be limiting developers so they can only set bugs to certain statuses as we don't have any support for that. If you really need that feature you'll have to get down into the code for that, and I'm not sure exactly where you'd want to do that. Possibly just in the bug_update.php page itself? Hope that's some help, Julian And...@nu... wrote: > Hi, > sorry for posting this mail on this list again, but i have disable mail > delivery until now - sorry. > > Can anybody help me with my adaptations for the access levels in mantis ? > > I want to implement this access level structure in mantis: > > who rights > Reporter new bug, reopen bug, close bug and update > his own bugs (without assign the bug to someone else) > Tester assign bugs (tester or developer) > Developer update bug (status: ACKNOWLEDGED and > CONFIRMED), resolve bug > > How can i implement this kind of access structur ?
