Hello all, I have mantis 0.18.3 installed and have Admin level access into it. When I create new projects, my admin name is always shown in that project's namelist whenever someone is choosing whom to assign the bug etc. Is there a easy way in config to hide admin user(s) from all project's member list? I think it's kinda wicked thing when u are admin of mantis, you're automatically a project member. I hope this thing can be changed from config file somehow, since mantis rocks otherwise! |

Alternatively, you can choose to have a seperate admin account and a regular account for your regular use, then have notifications turned off for the admin account. (this is what I do since I started with a much earlier version that either didn't have the upper threshold or I just didn't know about it). -- Glen Starrett |

This (changing an administrator's access level downward for a project) isn't allowed in 0.19 anymore because of some complications it introduced into ensuring that the right people can change things. > > Alternatively, you can choose to have a seperate admin account and a > regular account for your regular use, then have notifications turned > off > > for the admin account. Is there a way to configure an account to not automatically get messages for all projects, but allow on some? E.g. the original poster's question. Regards, -- Glen Starrett |

I believe that the plan is to make most global preferences either per project or per user, or maybe both. -- Glenn Henshaw Altera Ottawa Technology Center Phone: (613) 591-6702 Email: ghe...@al... |
