I've installed Mantis 0.17.5 onto my Apache server (Win NT). I've
also installed jpgraph (whatever the latest stable release is), and
have set the $g_use_jpgraph and $g_jpgraph_path variables to be
Everything else is default (except for mySQL and email settings).
Nothing else in the config files have been changed.
When I test jpgraph (standalone) without using mantis then I get all
the graphs to work - Which indicates that the jpgraph is setup
When I try to do an Advanced Summary in mantis I get six images with
the embedded error message:
<b>General PHP error:</b><br>Undefined variable: g_register_globals
For some debugging of the possible problems I've moved the call from
the Image src and made it standalone at the top of the advanced
summary page. This shows the same error.
Next I looked at one of the report calls
"summary_graph_bycategory.php", this seems to include "core_API.php"
which has the IF statement looking at $g_register_globals. (Remember
the $g_register_globals setting from the config file has not been
changed from the default).
Next I tried to change the IF statement (at the top of code_API.php)
to not look at the $g_register_globals variable (as a test - not for
the final solution as this may affect alot of other forms). This got
past the problem, but now it displays a problem in the JpGraph code
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: getcsimareas() in
W:\www\mantis\jpgraph\jpgraph.php on line 1290
Remember, all the mantis code is stock standard 0.17.5 (not mods).
Does anyone have some idea on what the problem could be?
