check if this works from the same directory as the mantis mail file

Yes because actually the complete message I get is:

SYSTEM WARNING: mail() : SMTP Server Response: 501 Bad address syntax
PROBLEMS SENDING MAILS TO: eric.gavaldo@trusted-logic.fr
...
I

which is my own email address which is working well has this response prove it ;)
Thx anyway,

Just guessing but maybe that error message you are getting is because you
have made a mistake in the email address of the people you are trying to
send mail to (via BCC), rather than any error in your mail setup. Are you
_sure_ your profile info is correct?

Subject: [Mantisbt-help] email not working !

Hi there !
When I'm reporting a bug or something, the email couldn't be sent.
Mantis is returning me this message:

SYSTEM WARNING: mail() : SMTP Server Response: 501 Bad address syntax

But I do not understand why:

I have this configured in the C:\Windows\php.ini file (under XP):

       [mail function]
       ; For Win32 only.
       SMTP = smtp-biot ;this is my smtp server that I can ping

       ; For Win32 only.
       sendmail_from = eric.gavaldo@trusted-logic.fr

and here is my mantis conf:

	# set these values to match your setup
	$g_hostname      = "localhost";
	$g_port          = 3306;         # 3306 is default
	$g_db_username   = "root";
	$g_db_password   = "";
	$g_database_name = "defect_tf4t";

	# select the method to mail by:
	# 0 - mail()
	# 1 - sendmail
	# 2 - SMTP
	$g_phpMailer_method		= 2;

	# This option allows you to use a remote SMTP host.
	# Name of smtp host, needed for phpMailer, taken from php.ini
	$g_smtp_host			= 'smtp-biot';

	# --- email variables -------------
	$g_administrator_email  = 'eric.gavaldo@trusted-logic.fr';
	$g_webmaster_email      = 'eric.gavaldo@trusted-logic.fr';

	# the "From: " field in emails
	$g_from_email           = 'noreply@example.com';

	# the "To: " address all emails are sent.
	# Actual users are emailed via the bcc: fields
	$g_to_email             = 'eric.gavaldo@trusted-logic.fr';

	# the return address for bounced mail
	$g_return_path_email    = 'eric.gavaldo@trusted-logic.fr';

I'm getting crazy at this point. No idea :((
Help please !
