Actually when I try to open an attachment, for example if it is a text file, it opens a blank text document and if it is another type of attachment, it saves a file with the actual name but zero bytes in size.
 
I have given the right permissions to the folder where I saved the attachments and I can verify that by saving a new attachment and retrieving it from there.
