Currently users need to enter their Manhattan
classrooms one at a time to check for unread messages.
This enhancement would flag classrooms with one or
more unread messages with a red star on the “My
Manhattan” page, which lists all of their Manhattan
classrooms.

The design is complicated by the fact that faculty can
typically have 20-30 Manhattan classrooms, most of
which are over a year old. The system should check
only the current semester’s classrooms for unread
messages automatically, but allow the user to check
additional classroom groups.
