Hi Chris! How are you? I was referred to you by Rick Morency. I work in the Co-op office in BCIT & have been struggling to learn Mamook the last month. I have a few questions & wonder if you can help me?
1. I can't seem to find the screen where I can register an employer as an "Inactive Veteran". Can you pls let me know where to find the data entry screen?
2. When we e-mail an employer, the template has on the subject line: "University of Victoria" Co-op...
How do we change UVIC to BCIT?
3. Do you have any written manual or even any draft information on Mamook?
4. Is there any training offered for Mamook? If yes, where & when?
Thank you so much in advance for any assistance & I look forward to your response,

Unfortunately, there currently isn't any way to set an employer's status to "Inactive Veteran". This process is completely automated inside Mamook. Mamook automatically designates different statuses based on when the employer hires students and posts jobs. Over time, if the employer hasn't posted jobs or hired for a term, their status will degrade to "Inactive Veteran" and "Inactive Lapse".
Do you have a fresh batch of employers that you're importing into Mamook? Or are you manually adding employers into the system? I might have a solution depending on what you're doing.

This is actually a bug. We accidentally left University of Victoria in the code there. I have fixed it, and you'll have to apply these code changes to your version of Mamook. Here's the change that's required:

The code fix will also be available in today's snapshot of the code.
As for 3 and 4, I have deferred you to our trainer.
Hope that helps!
