Building Maui

The Maui build system is based on the NetBeans RCP build system. It uses Apache Ant at its core. If you want to run a priming build after checking out the Maui source ([DevelopingMaui]), open the Maui project. If this is not visible, go to the Files view (Window->Files), select the folder Maui, right-click and select 'Open Project of Folder'. Return to the 'Projects' view, select Maui, right-click and select 'Build'.

This will start the bootstrapping process of Maui, building omics-base first, before building Maui. Maui uses a technique called 'module suite chaining' in order to allow other projects to reuse the base components located in omics-base.
