Commit [r125] Maximize Restore History

Adjusting flags for Slackware 11.

Unfortunately checkinstall 1.6.0 included in extra with Slacware 11 is buggy.
Checkinstall 1.5.3 from Slackware 10.2 works fine after being compiled from
source with its build script.
