TWiki is one of the popular "Wiki" implementations on
the Web. It has its own simple markup language. It also
accepts HTML markup. Additionally, it supports "plugin"
programs. These programs can be specialized editors.
See http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins

To generate structured consistent FAQs, it would be
very useful to have a FAQ plugin, e.g., based on
makefaq. You could enter a .dat file and the makefaq
plugin would translate it to HTML (or native Wiki
format) for inclusion in the Wiki page.

I am not a Wiki developer, but it appears that plugins
need to be Perl modules. Not sure how to handle a
Python program like the current makefaq.

Thanks,

John
