Hello everyone...
I've been experimenting with KnowledgeMaker/MindMapper in the hopes that
it would work in the schools. I was quite impressed except for what I
think is a glitch. I'm using RedHat Linux 7.1 Java version 1.3 (and I've
tried 1.4 engine). When I create a "website retrieval" node, enter a
website then click on the Arrow it creates a getModel().getURL() node in
the uppermost top lefthand side of the screen. The problem is all the
control buttons (move node, delete node, link node, etc ..) is ABOVE the
node and outside of the viewing area. No matter what I do I can't get the
getmodel().getURL node to appear somewhere else so I can get at those
buttons. Has anyone experienced this? Which java runtime should I be
using? I've tried both MindMapper version 1.0 christmas and version 2.0
birthday release and same results - which MindMapper should I be
using? What is the license for the use of this software? Any help would be
sincerely appreciated. Please respond directly to me as I'm not subscribed
to this list.
Thank-you
