I was really sorry to see that this project is abandoned, because there are lot of possibilities within, also because the alternatives are either "full feature mailserver control panels", and/or also abandoned.
I found a fork on github, gh:zedzedtop/mailzu which is also abandoned, but i found some howtos which gave me good input about using with more recent amavisd-new, and started to use it in one production environment.
As a result, i forked from zedzedtop and begun to publish my changes and updates to it, so feel free to check out gh:gnanet/mailzu
