What do you mean "no more"? Do you think I'm going to trash my desktop?
The reason for homebrewing was lack of flexibility of other
distributions. I was told gentoo is much better. It IS better, although
I haven't decided whether I want to stay with gentoo or fallback to
homebrewing. And, anyway, I don't have a time for yet another redo of
system (have a 15 days old daughter on my hands).

Ok, I will take care of it. Any gentoo users around willing to put
an ebuild into /usr/local/portage?
