I guess you did read the c-client docu, so I suggest you ask on the
c-client mailing list.

There's a patch to have multiple patterns here:

People have reported success with it. If you use it, then please let me
know how you fare with it.

If you want to write a patch for exclusion of patterns or general regexpr
(or even better Perl style) then be my guest :)
